We'll see if any East teams make a jump this season. Cleveland isn't going to get better standing pat while almost every other team has made moves.

I'm not gonna get into it right now, but were a very young team and I guess we just didn't have the feel of the game after we won the East. But come on, think about it.. LeBron James pretty much got us to the NBA Finals ALONE. Think about it Larry Hughes was 100 percent, think about it if we had a point guard that can run a offense and setup players, think about it if we had a coach that knew some offense. Boston will make the playoffs, I don't think they will go to deep, but they can if both Allen and PP stay healthy. I don't know about Finals, though.

IF you had a good offensive coach, a good point guard, and a legit #2 scoring option you'd be a great team, but you don't have any of those things.I'm not saying the Celtics are going to the finals because God only knows how many problems this team still has, but we're going to be MUCH better...as is New Jersey with a healthy Kristic, New York with Randolph, and Washington with a healthy team. Who knows, maybe Detroit won't implode the next time around. Maybe a healthy D-Wade can carry Miami to another finals run. There are way too many factors to say that nobody can stop the Cavs, because frankly, Cleveland wasn't even that good last year.

Every season everyone talks and says, "If this team can stay healthy.. blah, blah, blah". What are REALLY the odds of that happening? Like K-Mart staying healthy one season, it just wont happen. Wade is reportedly gonna miss a month, so he better hope Miami can keep close to .500 without him, if hes out. Cleveland was good last season, but we just died out in the Finals. LeBron lost his mojo and no one could score.

His shooting has improved quite a bit, but he's not what Lebron needs in a wingman. You weren't that good last season. If you were good enough to even threaten the Spurs then you would've won the conference easily during the regular season. You didn't. The Pistons imploded because Rasheed and Flip Saunders are both idiots. As I've already said, worst team to ever make the NBA Finals. What're the odds everyone stays healthy? Not good for the whole season. But the odds are pretty good those guys are good to go when playoff time comes. What happened to Washington was tragic. What happened to D-Wade was freak thing, and Kristic was out with a season long injury. What're the chances all those things happen again? Very unlikely.

He showed up when Larry came to town to talk with him and thats a big reason why he signed with us. Oh boy.. Detroit had big problems last year, yup, thats the reason they lost. LeBron being unstoppable didn't have anything to do with it, Gibson's two games of 31 points didn't mean anything, either.
QUOTE (redsoxrock04 @ Jul 20 2007, 01:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I didn't want 2 start a fight
I wouldn't call this a fight, because were not fighting. Detroit fell apart. Saunders made 0 adjustments while Lebron was going off, and even after that he still didn't change anything. Then Rasheed went nuts to top it all off. Detroit beat themselves. They gave that series away with idiotic decisions. Lebron was unstoppable? San Antonio sure seemed to slow him down quite a bit. 14, 25, 25, and 24 in 4 straight losses isn't what I'd call unstoppable. If you expect the worst finals team ever to stand pat while their competition improves but still blow everyone in the East away then you're going to be awfully disappointed.
Cavs are still a top team in the East, but I think the Celtics win the season series, our lineup is too well balanced, even if we still have holes at pointguard and center.

They clearly got lucky. James didn't even get any calls the 1st game, and the 2nd game he was fouled on the final play. We honestly should've swept Detroit. But we won the series, people can make all the excuses they want for Detroit, it doesn't matter, they lost. No, I said he was unstoppable against Detroit. And the fact is, the WHOLE team just struggled in the whole series against the Spurs. I will credit their team for beating us, but if we didn't struggle, I can see a series, at least. We are making no moves, which I'm upset about. Danny Ferry needs to be replaced, I've been saying that ever since he re-signed Z for 11 Million, and gave Larry Hughes 70 million.

We may have contributors at each position, but if we don't fill at least one of those two holes by the end of training camp I will be disappointed.
