wow, just wow. I thought this was one we'd most likley lose without KG, but damn I love it. not even close. C's are now a league best 22-8 on the road... that's great news for the playoffs. I don't see the first 2 rounds being 7 games series with the C's needing 4 home wins this year.
Two possible reasons for this win: 1. Boston is just great, and they're going to be Champions. 2. Denver just sucks! I'm going with both.
37-19 record says your second theory isn't that sound. C's sucked it up in KG's absence and wanted to prove they can win big games without him should be #2 Rondo going into 'I shoulda been a damn all-star' mode should be #3
They're lucky in games? Their record is better than they really are? hahaha ) For whatever reason, I just can't bring myself to like Denver. haha maybe it's melo..
I've been a fan of Melo's since his Syracuse days (year). I think he's a great wing player, not a great leader. Ask him to score and rebound and play some team ball he's fine. Ask him to be the man and ensure chemistry on the team forget about it. Proof is in the USA teams he played on. All he had to do was do his thing within the flow of the team and he was the best player most nights.
Team ball? Isn't he a ball hog? Well guess your right, he is a good player. But he is not what they make him to be - franchise player. I don't think he is on the same level as LeBron, Kobe, or Wade. He's just overrated.
I agree he's not a franchise player in that mold, but the level below. Not sure who calls him a franchise player though. He has adjusted his game this year and is taking less shots and does average a respectable 3.5 apg having played with AI and now Billups who both have the ball in their hands a lot.
