The Cs are not going to re-sign Williams after this season and general manager Danny Ainge apparently doesn't want to let Williams play himself into a good deal elsewhere next year.</div>

I don't know who they could possibly trade with, who would want a big man like Battie who can't stay healthy and can't shoot. I think a playof team would want Ewill, he's a good player off the bench.

I think that if they package them right, most any other team in the East and several teams out west would probably look into it. I think Ainge would have to throw in a 2nd round draft pick or something, though.

That being said, I think a deal with Miami or Orlando could work out well, though I don't think Boston would necessarily want to help out a division rival. Both teams need a legitimate center, and Williams could do well off the bench, especially in Miami, since i've heard they're gonna try to deal Butler. Orlando may be able to get rid of Juwan Howard, which would free Gooden to play regular minutes, but they'd probably ask for more than just Battie and Williams.
