I'm actually really pumped for this game, and I can't wait to see how everything goes!! I see a blowout by the C's though. Mavs are just horrible..Mo Ager, Josh Powell, and Rawle Marshall are there best players compared to Al Jefferson, Sebastian Telfair, Ryan Gomes/Gerald Green..

i mean, if Denver can beat them by like 25, i'm sure the Cs should have no problem doing so.

68-65 at the end of the 3rd, Celtics leading..Jefferson is just not doing anything, he looks lost, his defense is great either; hes commiting stupid fouls. Ryan Gomes is just dominating. Hes quicker, and he can hit the 15-18 ft shot with ease. Gerald Green is looking great on offense.Telfair would have about 7-8 assists if Jefferson could handle the god damn ball..**Information from draftexpress.com

yeah, i'm surprised how we aren't pulling away from this team. Ryan Gomes has been spectacular as usual according to the boxscore. Telfair is also playing well.I'm surprised by the stinker from Al. If he's really been working so hard, this shouldn't be happening. Hopefully he will come out next game and do something.EDIT: WOW, i just learned that Al Jefferson has 7 fouls at the end of 3. That is just unacceptable. Although i think the stats is messed up, bc it says Rondo, Green have 6, and Gomes has 5.

For those of you who want some stats, at the end of three:Ryan Gomes: 29 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals.Gerald Green: 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist.Sebastian Telfair: 17 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, but 6 TO's ( i think some of this may have been caused by Al Jefferson's bad hands for the day that kj was talking about).Al Jefferson: 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists.Rajon Rondo: 8 points, 4 assists, 4 steals.Allan Ray: 10 points.EDIT: actually, those were the stats for the entire game.

Gomes is sick! 2 blocks and 2steals! Green grabbing 7 rebs is nice too. From the limited time Jones got last season and in summer leauge he seems to have a real nack for grabbing rebounds.

someone who went to the game shared some points. He said he was amazed at both Telfair and Rondo's ability to penetrate the lane and thread the needle. He also said that Allan Ray could be a Damon Jones type, that the opposing team can't leave him open.

a disappointing loss today to the clippers. here are some main points from draft express:-They said Rajon Rondo could very well be THE STEAL OF THE DRAFT. They said he was spectacular on both ends. On offense, he was easily passing up his man to get into the lane, he controlled the pace well, and he was unselfish.-Gerald Green started off great, but declined in the 2nd half, as did the rest of the Celtics.-It said that Al has been a huge disappointment. He still looks confused out there. I gotta tell you, this is very frustrating. A guy that has been working this hard, but he can't keep up with the flow of the game. His decision-making, especially during double-teams, was poor.-Nothing on Bassy. :dunno:

Yeah I posted "Official Summer League" threads in a lot of different forums (everyone in the Vegas Summer League) but I already posted one here anyway before. But oh well.

How about the 2nd game though? Disgusting really. http://www.vegassummerleague.com/box_score.cfm?game=68

Gerald is shooting a very low percentage so far, damn. 4-12 in the 1st game, then 4-13 yesterday? Ouch. Bassy was great in game 1, not so hot in game 2. Big Al supposedly looks bad out there. Gomes was a BEAST in game 1, ehh in game 2. Rondo reportedly is looking awesome in both games, and Mike Gorman said as of right now he would say Rondo impressed him more than Telfair. Allan Ray is reportedly looking nice out there as well.

I mean it's only summer league, but hearing all this negativity towards Al, still, is not making me smile. It's time to stop using your ankle as a cruch, big fella. Let's go man.

Especially when I see Gerald shot 4-13, and was still our leading scorer for the game.

Oh well, we have a chance to redeem ourselves against the Raptors today (I think the game is going on right now). It will be nice to see how Big Al does with Bargnani, and nice to see how everyone bounces back from that horrid game on Sunday.

But I'm calling it - Gerald Green will have a good game. So far he's 8-25 shooting this summer league (2 games), he is due for a good game, and I expect it to be today.
