Celtics to sign Travis Best??

according to Fox news travis best has been in Boston the last couple days. there seems to be mutual interest. im not sure how i feel about this. travis is over the hill. not going to be a cornerstone of a team thats in teh building process. he could be a decent backup or holdover starter untill banks or bremer are ready to step up and take the job but its not worth getting rid of the up and coming bremer to make room for him. Bruno sundov is a possibility but Id like to see if hes anything but tall garbage before giving him away

 

how many pgs are they going to get

 

I heard this rumor but it doesn't make sense, you can only have so many players on a team and signing Best makes 14 where's there room for Hunter?

 

they would unload someone if they signed best.
sigh......we really need more celtics fans at this site

yea im sure theyd unload bremer or delk. i really hope they keep bremer though cuz he's going to be a great scorer/passer but hasnt gained enough recognition to bring anything good in trade

 

it's dumb for the celtics, they need to sign a big man.

 

yea but who the hell can they get. theyd have better luck signing best and trading him or one of the other guards for one to a team that needs a guard desperatly

Wow, I just looked at the pistons forum and it looks like you have started about 4/5 of the threads on the page. We really need to go out and recruit more posters.

Best would be good off the bench, picking him up just to trade him doesnt sound worth it

 

i think itd be better than trading bremer

 

although bremer has the most potenial out of him and delk they should get rid of bremer because hes proved that that he can average 10+ pts a game and thats what the celtics need.

They have turned their attention away from Best to Mike James a younger PG, who is a better defender but not as good of a shooter as Best.

 

Did nt they sign Damon Jones and now Mike James they have way to many pg's now.
