http://www.bostonherald.com/blogs/celtics/?p=13 <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Wednesday night?s tribute to Red Auerbach is shaping up as such a major production, the Celtics? game against the Hornets may eventually fade into the category of a sidelight. But the team came up with memorial patch this morning for the late Celtics president that will highlight the upcoming season?s dedication to the greatest coach in NBA history. Celtics players will wear a black shamrock patch with green lettering spelling out the name Red on the right lapel. A very classy memorial, to be sure.</div> Good, I was hoping/expecting for them to do something like this. Red will be dearly missed :cry2:
very classy. red deserves a spot on the jersey. I think they should consider making a statue in front of the garden or something, too.
I would very much like a statue..should of been done before his death though..he's done so much for this team

That statue was covered with flowers this weekend outside Fanuel Hall, it's a great tribute to his greatness. I'm glad though that they will have that clover this year, that is really great.
