They got rid of Jones and got some cash and Jackson from the Cavs. This is a little strange. It's one of those, why bother? type trades. At the same time, why not? Anyone got any good reasons they can think of?
Tommy Heinsohn wanted a player on the roster he can create cool nicknames with. Maybe they just wanted everyone's player out of the deal .. <font color=""SeaGreen"">cash</font>.
Jackson has never really panned out for the Cavs and his back problems have really been the problem. He's just been a shell of himself since coming to the NBA, it's sad to see things like this happen to players with the love for the game like Luke Jackson had. Out of the big 3 from Oregon, I thought he'd be the best, but he just hasn't been the same since college.
