Apparently, Marbury is starting again tonight. I'm assuming Powe will start for Davis, but it could be Moore because Doc likes to start an inside/outside combo with the big men.
Play some good D on Wade, people over here are getting so loud over that last win against a short handed Chicago. Make him chuck threes, he thinks he can be as good as Bron's efficiency from there. Dunno about that. :O
It will be interesting to see who guards Wade. Rondo usually does, if I'm not mistaken. I can't see Marbury doing it and Pierce isn't quick enough. I guess it'll be Ray Allen. That's a little scary. I have no idea whether we will win or not. The Celtics minus KG/Rondo are probably right on the same level as the Heat.
The Bulls had no help defense last game, Brad Miller wasn't doing much. As long as your bigs keep their priorities in line you have a great chance with your schemes. Is Ray Allen that mediocre/etc. of a defender?
He's so-so. Our whole scheme is based around guarding a players strong side on the perimeter and giving them a free weak side drive towards a big man who is supposed to meet them at the basket. All our perimeter players have to do is stay with their man and know which way the opposing player wants to make their move. The problem lately is that KG is the only big man we have that is always making the correct rotation and is in the spot he's supposed to be 99% of the time. The rest of the bigs get caught out of position and a guy like Wade can get easy buckets without a frontcourt player blocking or altering his shot. The Cleveland game has been the only game since KG went out where all of our big men did what they were supposed to do.
Not the best job but you made Wade take long jumpers and rotated decently without giving up easy buckets. 2-6 in the first quarter for Wade, he got to the line a lot though.
Hell yeah, even after you posted he hit 2 straight threes and a crazy circus shot. I think he's 9/11 at the half. Leon Powe has a doube double already.
The 3rd quarter is beginning to look like the 2nd quarter against Orlando. It's what happens when you don't have a point guard.
