<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Though Ainge declined to talk about whether the team's plans are tied into a decision on re-signing Antoine Walker [news], most scenarios drawn up by the Celtics have the 18th pick set as the perfect spot to take a young power forward.

Though Joey Graham, the muscular power-3 (forward) from Oklahoma State, and shooting guards Rashad McCants (North Carolina) and Francisco Garcia (Louisville) will cloud the issue if they drift to No. 18, the Celtics' pared down list focuses on inside players.

The team trimmed its list to nine yesterday, including 19-year-old prep school forward Andray Blatche, Syracuse forward Hakim Warrick, Spanish center Fran Vazquez, UConn big man Charlie Villanueva, North Carolina power forward Sean May and Ike Diogu of Arizona State. Diogu, an undersized (6-foot-8) but energetic and passionate power forward, is due in for a late workout, possibly as early as today.

A pair of power-3s - Providence College's Ryan Gomes and Russian Yaroslav Korolev - are also on the C's list.

Korolev, considered the best European in the draft, has reportedly received a commitment from the Los Angeles Clippers at pick No. 12. Though locations haven't been as closely identified with Blatche and Andrew Bynum - a 6-11 high school center who had committed to UConn - both have also reportedly received promises from teams picking ahead of the Celtics. </div>
