The Blazer center rotation strategy could be producing more points, rebounds, assists, steals, and defense by using a rotation that includes the best talent. I would play Jusuf, Ed, and Meyers to get the benefit of the talents of each and expect the following outcome. Jusuf for 20-24 min to get 14 pts, 10 reb, 4 ast, 4 blk Ed for 12-16 min to get 4 pts, 14 reb, 2 ast, 2 blk Meyers for 8-16 min to get 12 pts, 4 reb, 2 ast, 2 blk Jusuf is the starting center who is scoring well in the paint, rebounding, passing well, and getting blocks with increasingly effective defense. He plays best when he turns on the intensity. To keep his energy level up, avoid letting him get tired enough to slow down, or have foul trouble, he should be replaced at key times by Ed or Meyers. Ed is an energetic off-the-bench center who plays excellent defense, scores efficiently, gets offensive rebounds, makes put-backs, passes well, and goes after the ball, He also plays best when fresh. Meyers is the shooting leader of the Blazers who can add the 9-15 points that the Blazers are lacking to get wins (probably 5 in the early season close losses plus the March Rockets and Celtic games) that might have the Blazers now at 52 wins. As an off-the-bench center, he will bring energy and determination that are needed to keep the intensity level high at the center position, especially in the 4th quarter situations where the Blazers have faltered. Chief and Zach are most effective as forwards, not as centers. The Blazers need one of Jusuf, Ed, or Meyers in at center, especially to keep play intensity and scoring up in the 2nd half. When Meyers and Zach are both on the floor late in the game bringing enthusiastic win-the-game play, the Blazers can add to the will-the-win force that can mean wins in all upcoming games through the playoffs. Dame, CJ, and Shabazz will provide the back court scoring power late in the game, to which the center rotation strategy can mean 30 points from the center position scoring, help to score 4+ swish3s in the 4th quarter, 112+ points, and more wins that lead to the Championship.
Ed Davis getting rebounds at a 40 rebounds per 36 rate, Meyers getting 36pts at a Per 36 rate. Yeah. Great idea.
The only time you don't play Nurk or Ed is when we're way behind and small ball is our only hope of getting back in. Or the other team is playing small ball and we're too slow to handle it. Otherwise, you've got 48 minutes of high quality center production. That's a massive advantage over nearly every team we play.

Meyers has 0 blocks in 204 minutes this season and you're predicting he'll have 2 blocks in 8-16 minutes tonight? Yeah, right. What's the expression I'm looking for? Someone help me out here. Something about monkeys flying out of a bodily orifice. BNM
The reason why Nards has no blocked shots in 204 minutes this season is because the coaching staff is actively telling him to not block shots. They must encourage a player to play well and empower him with the belief he can block shots. If done properly Nards would not only block 2 shots. But he'd make every shot, solve world hunger, stop all war, and fix the pollution problems the world has. If only the coaching staff would encourage Nards...
You forgot cancer, he'd cure cancer. Which would be good for Stotts because if he plays Meyers any meaningful minutes he must have a brain tumor.
If Ed Davis can average those stats on a per minute basis, play him for 48 a night. In the OPs worse case scenario, he'd have 42 in that time. You don't need swish3s if your starting center is hauling down 42 rpg.
Putting aside my snide remarks, let's consider the center rotation for next season: I very much like the Nurk/Ed rotation, and hope we sign Ed, and continue it as is. We don't need swish3s from the center rotation.
Meyers is going to be behind Papa G next season imo. Meyers is pretty much our Mark Madsen at this point, except his contract will never expire.
Okay, everyone saw the 14 rebound in 12 minutes thing. LOL. I was expecting a little over the top, but man, we got a cleanup in the kitchen right now.
