<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chad Ford answered my question on what the Bulls should do in the draft in his Thursday chat on the ESPN website. He says their best approach would be to draft Brandon Roy (apparently with the Knicks' choice!) and trade Gordon for a big. I like Roy a lot, but this is pretty strange even for Ford. Here's the Q&A.Rick Oakland CA: Chad, you've been hired by the Bulls as a draft consultant. Which of the available big men works best with Chandler? Are Thomas and Noah too much like Tyson? What do you do with the Bulls own choice? Bill John Paxson.Chad Ford: Noah is too much like Chandler. He's more skilled, but neither is going to back guys down in the post. Thomas would be OK. Aldridge is the most skilled of the group, but he too isn't strong enough to get real physical in the post. If I was forced to choose, I'd probably go with Aldridge just because I think he's the best offensive player of the bunch, but none are perfect fits. The Bulls would be better off with a guy like Brandon Roy and then use Ben Gordon as trade bait to get the four they're looking for.</div>
not a bad idea. I'm a huge fan of Roy, and they could get a better player w/ BG than with their pick.
Yeah i think its a good idea also if we can get a great Big man. But if we do thta we are gonna have to end up trading alot cause we dont havea Big contract to throw out there. Even though we have alot of cap space. Its gonna be hard to trade gordon for a great big man. AKA Kg. Cause hes like the only great big man that can be on the trading block.
I heard about that. I dont want him here. Hes always hurt and hes overrated. I would want Kg instead of oneal.
the problem is, the bulls don't have alot of big contracts to trade for him. so they'd have to give half of their team practically to match the salaries.
Id rather draft a big man like aldringe then trade away all our young talent for a KG or J. Oneal. especially if it involves trading two of you young players and the pick, i would rather just draft some players and sign maybe Al HarringtonId rather draft a big man like aldringe then trade away all our young talent for a KG or J.
