As heard on the Fan590 with Chuck: 1. Boston Celtics: 3 devastating all-stars, despite their thin bench. 2. NJ Nets: Healthy again, and the addition of Magloire is going to help them big time. 3. Toronto Raptors: Young up-and-coming team with Chris Bosh and TJ Ford. 4. NY Knicks: Can't see how Curry and Randolph are going to work together, especially that their guards are trigger-happy. 5. Philadelphia 76ers: Will probably be the worst team in the league. They're rebuilding.

QUOTE (GM3)

It's your division until someone takes it away.

agreed. not that the division title means all that much, anyways.
Actually it's not anyones division. It's the Celtics division unless they mess up and lose it which would mean that either one of the Big 3 gets injured or they can't gel with each other. I don't see either of those happening so the Celtics have the, lets say, best chance to win it. (the division, then the East, and then the title)
Ford knows his stuff.

I would say it is the Celtics divison to lose unless Colangelo makes a move to pair Bosh with another stud.
I think everyone expects the Celtics to be good in a game, but I don't know if anyone expects them to be consistent for a whole season this soon after a major roster overhaul. I could see them having the kind of season the Magic had last year, bursting out of the gate then dissolving.

Three allstars, two future hall of famers (leaving allen out for now). This team will be special. Very special indeed.

You will not go far with only 3 players and no bench. Believe me.

Just players that will go out there and do their part, which I see them doing.

I have to see the Celts play a few months before I can make an accurate prediction, but I honestly do not see them doing as well as many people expect.
Right now, I think Toronto has the best chance to win the atlantic.

Toronto is very underrated. They have the best chance to win the division as of now.
And Paul Pierce is a future HOF?

Only KG is going to be inducted into the HoF anyways Celtics definitley have the BIG 3 but I wouldnt count out the Raps, they have one of the deepest benches in the NBA and are emerging as one of the elite teams out of the East if they can keep improving and I dont see anything holding them back as their BIG 3 are still very young and constantly improving. I would definitly like to see the Raptors play Boston asap and even more so wish the game could go into OT....KG, Allen and Pierce can only play soo much.
i agree with everyone saying the raps have the best chance at the division title.
the playoffs are a whole different story tho. the nets will still beat them, meanwhile, i'm not even sure the celts will make it. one major injury to a key player, and who knows what will happen.
we already know the nets can still make the playoffs without a key player playing most of the season, or the whole season.

Bargnani is going to blow up next season guys watch. Im think 15-16 ppg and 6rpg is fair, thats more than enough for a role player, and he got way way more huger than last year and hes been on a serious training regimen, i expect good things from him.

Bargs is no role player, then again hopefully most #1 picks aren't role players.
The Celtics have the worst team in the league 4-12 so I'm not worried about them regualr season or playoffs.
