<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>'Incredible' Summer<div><span style="font-style: italic">Sep 19</span> - This summer was, in Tyson Chandler's words, "incredible." He made the 12-man team which represented the United States in the FIBA Americas Tournament in Las Vegas. The U.S. won the gold, and the team is headed to Beijing for the 2008 Olympics. Chandler didn't play that often, subbing for All-Stars Amare Stoudemire and Dwight Howard, but the experience was important. </p> "I would say confidence, enthusiasm, those are all good descriptions of how he's feeling right now," Hornets GM Jeff Bower said. "He really benefited from this experience with USA Basketball, both physically and solidifying his status in the NBA. He's bringing back experiences he gained playing against his teammates, as well as the conversations that take place that are every bit as valuable, to hear how people handle different situations." -- New Orleans Times-Picayune </p></div></div>
Chandler did exactly what he was supposed to: defend, block shots, rebound, and dunk. i think he should've gotten more minutes there...but that doesn't really matter much.
