Chandler said after practice Thursday that he wants to rank among the league's top five in rebounding and blocked shots this season. Where Chandler doesn't want to rank high is in technical fouls. He received one after shoving the Pacers' Foster out of bounds following a loose-ball scrum. Chandler knows he deserved the technical and didn't exactly sound remorseful. "If one man doesn't respect another man's space, there you go," Chandler said. "I'm going to play aggressive. If I get techs, I get techs. I have to play my style. I'm not letting anything hold me back. I have to be me." Chandler began exhibiting an edge to his play last season. Management likes this quality, especially because it feels that Chandler is too intelligent to enter Dennis Rodman territory. "I like the emotion, and I think he can control it," coach Bill Cartwright said. "If he has a guy grabbing him, he has to get him off. Foster's annoying, but that's OK. That's how some guys have to play. Tyson has to do what he has to do to get him off." </div>
Yeah Chandler should be fun to watch. If he controls his emotion and uses it at the proper times, he will be good and fun.
I wouldn't call Rodman stupid which seems to be the assertion of the author. However I do think that Chandler's new aggressive disposition is good news for the Bulls. I?m more of a Curry fan but their successes and futures are linked. Go Bulls!
Rodman was one of the most intelligent players in the game. He studied countless hours of tape to learn where a player would miss off the rim, to gain an advantage on the boards. Rodman was a student of the game.
