<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> December 1, 2003 -- The Chicago Bulls today announced they have placed forward/center Tyson Chandler on the Injured List with low back pain. Simultaneously, the team has activated forward Linton Johnson III. Per NBA rules, Chandler will miss at least the next five games on the Injured List. Johnson will be available for tonight’s contest at the United Center versus the visiting Milwaukee Bucks. </div> http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/chandler_031201.html I am not all that surprised to be honest. Its a good thing this trade went down, as it gives us depth upfront, with Davis, Williams, Curry, Fizer, and Blount.
Eddy really needs to step up. Expecially his rebounding. I am really dissapointed in his rebounding ability thusfar.
How did he substain this lower back pain anyways? Chandler has been the more impressive of the 2 HS Players... he has had some monster rebound games.

He went for 27/15 against Rasheed last year, I believe. He had a 19/22 game. And other equally impressive ones. His offense is still developing.
But those were later in the year when the season was over. (just like you said about Crawford) If its only "flashes" with Crawford, than its only "flashes" with Chandler. I personally think you have some vandetta against Crawford.

Purehoops wanted to talk about Chandler's rebounding game. I just wanted to add a comment that Chandler can score too. Nowhere did I say Chandler was consistent, a star, or anything of that sort. Did you not see where I said......"SOME" in the quote? Here, let me help you.... <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Vintage:</div><div class="quote_post"> He's also had some pretty impressive scoring outputs as well. As in, not all, not frequent......meaning on occasion, which means he has been inconsistent, but he can do it. Believe me, I don't have a vendetta against Crawford. I am a realist. I dont see Curry, Chandler, or Crawford ever becoming superstars. I believe they can become good players, but I just don't think they'll ascertain the level of superstardom. Its not to say I don't like them.......I do......
