"It was the same old thing, just different and worse.

The Chargers had the right opponent to implode against on the road, to sputter and cough and go in reverse, to be charitable and just plain awful and still win.

Yet even against the Raiders, the Chargers lost Sunday, 35-27.

That's what happens when a team has its first two punts blocked, turns over the ball in the red zone and basically steps on its collective shoelaces.

"We definitely played down to their level," linebacker Stephen Cooper said. "We lost the game. We ain't supposed to lose this game. This is a game we all thought we were going to win. We didn't. You have to take your hats off to the Raiders."

Yes, the streak is over, the Black Hole is relevant again after the Raiders beat the Chargers for the first time in 14 games."
