I just saw on ESPN that it looks like OC of the 49ers Norv Turner will be made head coach of the Chargers. This kind of sucks.Im also really good friends with Norv's son, Drew, who goes to my school, and whenever I've gone to his house, Norv has always said he wouldnt make his family move again. Norv just signed an extension with the 49ers. I really hope this rumor is false, he's really good, and I like going to their house cause they HELLA rich, haha.
In many ways Norv is exactly what they are looking for. A Yes man.So the team will completely fall apart over the next 3 years, because you can't have a yes man as your Head Coach.

This is a weird hire. Ron Rivera and Mike Singletary were right there, they could have had one of the two. Why would they go after Norv Turner? They are hoping he can continue to mentor Phillip Rivers.I have heard around ESPN that they were afraid that hiring a defense of minded coach would hurt Phillips progress. BUT The funniest thing of all.Ron Rivera, the man who has been pretty much called for every head coach opening, is out of a job.
