Who would you rather have Oakley or Tyronne Hill? There both 6'9 250 but I think Hill would be better. Hill is a little bit younger too. I would be happy with Oakley he would fire up Vince.
I would LOVE Oaks to come back, we really need someone to push Vince into his normal self, not the way hes been playing this season. Charles Oakley and Butch Carter were the only people who really got in Vinces face when he did something stupid, now since weve got O'neill, Butch is out of the question, so I think it would be a great idea to bring back Oak.
oak tree would be great, id much rather have him then tyronne hill...they both good off the glass, but oak tree can kick down that 15-20 ft jumper. i say sign him!
No this is as bad as getting the likes of Glen Rice, not even good enough to be used as relievers. They've lost what little they were good at not to mention losing the speed, stamina and endurance in the process as well. Oh well if you get him, it's nice to have a reliever for the big men, also some experienced chemistry since he use to be a Raptor. I think it'd be a mistake though.
i would pick Oakley .... Tyrone Hill is too ugly to play with the raptors..... i wouldn't mind seeing Malik Rose in raptor's uniform either....
Oakely would put Vince back to his old form. We could really use a guy like him, its like have 2 extra coaches: Cury and Oakely.

I think it'd be a mistake though.</div> The point of signing Oak would not be for some huge help, all it would do is get Vince tougher, and get him up to 25ppg like he used to do. Oak did it all the time, the time he spent with the Raptors before he always told Vince straight up what hes doing wrong, which made Vince aggressive.

He could do Baxters job but better. But hes has a horrible contract.
I would prefer Tyrone Hill over Oakley, simply because Oakley has the rep of being a cancer in the locker room...

I would bring him back for the fact that he'll just pummel people coming inside. We miss that toughness attitude of not letting anyone get anything easy and Oakley would provide that for us. He may light a fire under Vince again but he will give us some added toughness and experience for sure
I love Oakley and I think that the Raptors still need to employ someone that VC is a little bit afraid of to motivate him. Vince, for all his talent is shaky when it comes to internally motivating himself The best VC ever played was when he had Oak and Kevin Willis eyeballing him from their corners of the dressing room........ Malik Rose is a really good player, I'd love to see him in Toronto, but the chances of that happening are about as rare as a cow in the field. Teams don't drop guys like that and he's a key player in San Antonio
