    not knocking the trade Alfonso Soriano is my favorite Yankee of all time (I know, I know), but a bit ridiculous we gave up a flame thrower, I am sure there is someone we could have given up instead of him

    Desperate times, bring desperate measures. I was surprised that it was Black though, if that is what is considered a low level prospect I guess we must have a ton of talent down there.

    Read between the lines - whenever you hear someone say that the Yankees have significant talent at "lower levels in the minors" (something we have heard for several years now), it really means that that they do not have anyone in the minor league system within 3 years of being brought up.
