I have seen recently a few views on Chelsea's greatest ever side and thought I would give my input on the argument:
    1. Cech - just shades it over Bonetti, best GK in the world
    2. Sillett - superb defender...and scored one of the most important penalties of Chelsea's history
    3. McCreadie - Hard man defender, real workhorse
    4. Chopper Harris - Chelsea legend, solid as a rock
    5. Terry - Even bigger Chelsea legend, and even more solid as a rock!
    6. Wise - Until Terry, Chelsea's greatest ever captain and a much better player and goalscorer than people gave him credit for.
    7. Lampard - The most consistent player in the Premiership for past 4 years and cornerstone of past 2 league titles.
    8. Cooke - Wing wizard, head and shoulders above our current crop of wingers.
    9. Zola - Hands down the greatest ever Chelsea player and the most talented player I have ever witnessed first hand at a game.
    10. Osgood - King of Stamford Bridge...enough said
    11. Greaves - this man had to be fitted in somehow, his goalscoring record of 132 goals in 169 games speaks for itself.
I would then have on the subs bench:
    <ul>
[*] Bonetti - Didn't earn the nickname the Cat for nothing
[*] Desailly - class act, albeit in the latter stages of his career
[*] Essien - in two more years this man will be in the starting eleven. Player of the season and at 24 will go from strength to strength
[*] Di Matteo - class on the ball and three goals in three cup finals is no small feat!
[*] Bentley - first Chelsea captain to lift league title and fantastic goalscorer![/list]
There are so many others that could be mentioned - Foulke, Le Saux, Petrescu, Clarke, Webb, Lebouef, Hollins, Poyet, Venables, Nevin, Hudson, Wilkins, Hutchinson, Tambling, Drogba, Dixon
But there are only 11 places and 5 subs and I believe this to be the greatest Chelsea side ever!

Hmm .... be a "wuss" and not get his head fractured again. Or taking it off and leaving it unprotected, meaning he could get killed ... i wonder what one i'd rather ... fucking idiot.
