An Exhibit 10 contract allows for an organization to take a much closer look at a prospect without having to fully commit. In other words, it is a non-guaranteed contract that will give Karnisovas a chance to evaluate Thompson throughout Bulls’ training camp before deciding whether or not to hand him a roster spot. If he is signed to the Windy City Bulls after training camp, he could be in line for a sizable bonus if he stays with the team for at least 60 days (per SLAM).

Thompson played four years at Oregon State and is coming off easily his best season as a Beaver. The combo guard averaged a very solid 15.7 points, 3.9 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game this season. He was a significant part of the Beavers’ unexpected run to the Elite 8, dropping 26 points and 7 rebounds in the team’s second-round victory over No. 1-overall pick Cade Cunningham’s squad. Overall, he has 127 college games (and starts) under his belt.
