I think it's pretty obvious that Vinny is supressing Gordon's scoring totals. He took Gordon out with about 3 minutes left in the Celtics game, a point where we could have given Rose/Gordon more time to get acquainted with each other on the court.

Gordon was beginning to get some scoring going in both games when VInny took him out.

Gordon should be playing more than 20 minutes a game.

This thing is going to blow up in Vinny's face if he keeps this up.

If we continue to play Gordon 20 minutes a game, I don't see how Gordon doesn't bolt for Miami. And if we drive his value down to MLE level, why would he stay with us? He'll go to San Antonio or New Orleans, or the Lakers.

The crazy thing is Derrick Rose IS a superstar already. Michael Beasley had a 25 point game tonight. You would expect us to be talking about that...but no, Derrick Rose is the narrative.

Rose is already the best point guard in the East. Granted, there aren't a lot of very good point guards in the East, but come playoff time, being able to outmatch any team at that position (and Hinrich/Gordon look good in the backup point minutes so far too), that will be a huge advantage.

You're getting ahead of yourself. There is no way Rose is a superstar already. He has played 3 games and he's played well, but not enough to call him a superstar. He can't shoot and he can't defend.

Having a look at each PG in the East I almost agreed with you there, but what about Andre Miller, there is no way you can say Rose is better than Miller. If your talking about Pure PG's then you also have to consider Calderon. But if you consider scoring PG's what about Arenas? What about Mo Williams, Bibby?

It's way too early to call Rose the best PG in the East or even a superstar. We aren't talking about Beasley because we're in a Bulls forum. There are no stars in the Bulls, whereas theres two allstars in Miami thus shadowing Beasley more.
