Pretty much a clear distinction here, with nobody who has round 1 expectatins deciding to play, leaving it a showcase for mostly players who will prove they should get drafted in round 2,with a few having a chance to show enough to get into the late rd 1 area. A very interesting aspect is how well some underclassmen do,whether they bail out,or stay in even if round 2 seems to be their slot. Too bad several of the Euros didn't want to play. I feel that some of the young Euros get way too much hype and have not earned round 1 slots. This might have proved something one way or another. I guess if I was Aleksandrov and some gave me a free pass into rd 1 I'd take it,and not risk getting schooled by a guy ranked lower by some. The cool thing here is that several of these "round 2" guys may well be quite a bit better than a few names often listed on rd 1 mocks and some team will get a bargain.
Interesting to see Daniel Ewing and to a lesser extent, Tiras Wade aren't there. I assume they both pulled out?
