"The Chiefs selected Florida State offensive lineman Rodney Hudson tonight with their second-round draft pick, 55th overall. They selected outside linebacker Justin Houston of Georgia with their first of their two third-round picks, 70th overall, and Miami, Fla., defensive end Allen Bailey with their other third-round pick, 86th overall.

The Chiefs are aging in the middle of their offensive line. Center Casey Wiegmann will soon be 38, and guard Brian Waters is 34. Guard Ryan Lilja has a history of injuries. Hudson, 6 feet 2 and 300 pounds, was a first-team all-American and played left tackle, left guard and center at Florida State.

Houston, 6-3 and 270, reportedly tested positive for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine. He also played defensive end and was a finalist for the Nagurski Trophy, given to the best defensive college player."
