<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The team announced that kicker Lawrence Tynes had been traded to the New York Giants for future considerations.Tynes connected on 68 of 87 field-goal attempts (78.2 percent) during his three seasons with the Chiefs. His future with the team began to look iffy when Kansas City selected UCLA kicker Justin Medlock in last month?s NFL draft.Giants general manager Jerry Reese said Tynes will compete with rookie Josh Huston for the starting job.</div>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Brooksie5 @ May 23 2007, 11:30 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Medlock is better than Crosby.</div>I really disagree. The big difference between the two was how they were used. Colorado had a very bad offense and because of that, and having a great kicker, they would reguarly attempt Field Goals as far as 60 yards out as it was the only way they were going to score. Crosby nailed 89% of his Kicks from 50 yards and in, compared to 86% from Medlock. The only reason Medlock had a better percentage overall was because Crosby was allowed to attempt alot of low percentage kicks that UCLA wouldn't even attempt with Medlock. Crosby took 24 kicks over 50 yards in his career compared to Medlock who only had to take 9 kicks over 50 yards.
