<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Look for the Chiefs to soon reach agreement with former first-round pick Kyle Turley, who recently went to a Dolphins minicamp. After sitting out football for one year, Turley's back is feeling considerably better, and he is expected to play tight end in Kansas City. But the Chiefs also plan to remain open to the idea to switching Turley back to offensive tackle if and when he can add weight to his current 260-pound frame. -- NFL.com</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Word has it that the Chiefs will be bringing in tackle-turned-tight-end Kyle Turley for a workout next week. Turley is represented by Kansas City super agent Tom Condon. Turley, 30, was the No. 7 pick of the 1998 draft by the New Orleans Saints and then Saints general manager Bill Kuharich, now the Chiefs? vice president of pro personnel. Turley has missed the last two years because of back problems but is 40 pounds lighter than his past playing weight of 300 with the Saints and Rams. He is attempting his comeback as a tight end.</div>http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/sports/14549340.htm [IMG]

It's just another workout, if the jailbirds in MIA wouldnt sign him I doubt you would either. But then again, Herm is known to take on a few troubled guys because he thinks he can work miracles. I just dont see Turley being a fit, especially after Herm saw his anger problems firsthand when he threw the Jets helmet back with New Orleans.

I DO NOT want him on our team....he isn't going to be a good TE and all he is going to be is a distraction...I don't see this happening...

No he doesn't, you've never seen him play...and if you read the article it says he would play TE, which confuses me.

That's stupid if he's playing tight end because he's more of a Right Tackle to me. maybe they want him to just block for you guys or something, IDK. But I know he definately aint fast so i dont have a clue why he would change from RT to TE, seems awkward

Now hes playing at about 265.That is why he changes positions to Tight End.

Why would we need ANOTHER TE? Tony GOnzalez, Jason Dunn(already a very good blocker), and we just got a good young TE last year in Kris Wilson(played for Pittsburgh)
