<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bracing for the worst, Larry Brown expects a chilly reception in Philadelphia next week because of comments he made to the Free Press that he said other media had misinterpreted.

Two Philadelphia reporters covered the Pistons-Lakers game Tuesday night at the Palace. The Daily News ran a column on Brown discussing his departure from the 76ers, the bad blood with fans and the media, and his preseason statement to Free Press columnist Mitch Albom that he was tired of coaching jerks.

"It's going to be a killer," Brown was quoted as saying about Wednesday's game in Philadelphia. "Especially in light of so many of the things I've heard said and how people interpreted some of the things I supposedly said.

"It's been miserable since I left, and that's been hard for me, too, because we lived there. My family is a part of the community, and there are guys on that team that I really care about."</div>

I back Larry 100% on this one.He isn't saying sorry he is explaining for the misunderstanding there might of been..He never named names about his comments..So he has a point.

One question how can you boo a coach? If he was playing then maybe..but not when he is on the sidelines.

It's easy, when a coach leaves and makes things up about how things were run in the organization he just left, he is subject to booing. I don't really buy his statement that what he said was misunderstood because he has remained consistent in making those types of comments towards the players and the franchise not only since he left, but even while he was coach.

And just in case you literall meant how can fans boo a coach, during the player and coach introductions the fans can boo him. They can also just start chants about the coach.

I agree with you 100%. Especially on the second quote lol. I know I have now learned that his comments werent directed at names, but we all dont know. We would first expect about Iverson, since Larry said he doesnt want to deal with offcourt problems. Obviously thats Allen for ya lol. If it was directed at Allen, I think the best that little "A-hole" lol would come out and admit it. He should just keep his mouth shut.

Allen has come off way more classy thorugout their years together and now this incident. Allen never pulled down Larry with him, never bashed, never talked about their problems to the media. He refered to Larry as "my man." Larry on the other hand did. That's not the way to get your guy to come to practice. You have to sit down with him and talk with him about it, not air out your problems.
