I liked the guy and all but why are people so sad about his death and paying so much respect to him?He was 99% on steroids and he was 99% the one who killed his son, his wife and himself. I don't see how he's a hero for that. He was a wrestling legend in a way but I don't understand why he's being worshipped for this. He (probably) killed his wife and son for pete's sake.
No one is worshipping him, but it is very sad that someone could be so angry/depressed that they'd take the life of their own wife/son and his own life. He was a great wrestler, and it is just a very shocking event.
He was one of the best in ring wrestlers of all time and everyone loved him for it, he was never amazing on the mic, people cheered him for the passion, heart and everything he showed and had put into his matches and that's not over doing it.For killing his family and all .... it's going to be hard to take if that is true.
^^ Agreed.He prob had love problems and didnt get along with his life and was sick and tired of being in WWECW that has been joke. He was in the mid-carder zone and should have been a mina eventer. Lets face it ECW Champion is like being a USA or Intercontinetal champion. He puts his body on the line and his head butts heart like sh*t and then get treated like this? The fans love him and from tonight everyone had a close relationship with him. But I dont know how he could be so depressed when he gets paid doing what he loves best and has a family and from what I heard on Raw his son was quiet and had manners but Im not sure about the wife.

Clinical depression is an actual illness that, if it gets bad and is not treated, could be the cause for something like this.
My uncle used to go see him all the time when he wrestled in memphis...Its sucks about his death, but he did it to himself supposedly...

Its sad because I use to be a huge wrestling fan and just last week or so I remember seeing him on Smackdown so its like you sort of knew him or w/e. Sort of like one of your favorite basketball players dying or something. But if its true that he killed his wife and kid and then himself how can you really feel sad for him? Well, obviously he was depressed or sick or something but still, just pretty much confused on how to form an opinion on this. Just a sad situation all together.
There's so many stories on what happend, I don't know what to believe yet... ahh :no1: well if he did of happen to murder his family I just know I still would respect the hell out of Benoit but that's just me.

Yeah, if this guy murdered his 7 year old child in cold blood, I would still respect the hell out of him because he did a nasty cross-face chicken-wing on Monday Night Raw! I hope he burns in hell.
You guys are ridicoulis, first of all we haven't got the full story on what actually happend, what they have reported is just a worst case scenario so stop hating the hell out of him and telling him to burn in hell, second of all it's my opinion on what I choose to believe and how I choose preserve different things and so ethier way im still going to continue to be a fan of a person like Chris Benoit, I don't know him personaly so I can't say I like his personality or whatever he decides to do outside the wrestling ring but the guy is still in my good books because he just seemed like a good person who's always done good. Im a fan of every single person in the world because to me whatever people do right or wrong isn't actually there fault, it's just there brain making a decision in which they probley know is wrong or isn't there choice to make and would eventually lead them to regret it in whatever way and mabye not on the planet earth :shifty2: it's just like talking to a mental person.. do you think when there dead there going to still be mental in the head, so yes everyone is equel in a way of able to do things envolving the mind. sp in my world everyone is good within, there's nooo need to hate. 3rd of all He is a fu*kin awsome wrestler, I don't think there's anyone as intense and focused as him when he's in the ring, it's an amazing thing to watch, he was so dedicated to the sport of wrestling.

Maybe he remembered Eddie guerrero and committed suicide. Crazy thought. This sucks. I can't imagine him doing something like this. TV eh. But its not confirmed for anything.
