If anybody is listening to it, it seems like he doesn't really want a finesse big man. When asked about the type of big he wants, he said he wants a C that can bang, doesnt need to score, to set screens/picks, obviously you aren't going to get that with the #1 pick. He did give compliments to LaMarcus, mentioning that he's a more of a basket player than him. Infact, he's going to workout with him in a couple years.

He basically said through his comments that he didn't want Bargnani, saying that he's a jump shot, put it on the floor guy, and that Toronto has enough of that already.

Regarding the PG posistion and what the Raps and him want at the posistion, he just basically named all the characteristics Steve Nash has.

Well he makes a good point. We've already got so much versatility at the 3 and 4. No sense in being redundant. I liked his analysis of Aldridge's game. You think his statement about the Raps needing a guard is an acceptance of the fact that Mike James might leave us?

U could listen to it on the Fan590 site.. and it was a couple of hours not years .. LOL.. "Infact, he's going to workout with him in a couple years." On how Bosh responded to what type of PG he wanted, he said, he wanted a PG to make plays and not for himself but to make other plays for other players and make them better. Sounds like a knock on Mike James.

Also about the PG thing, it's not a knock on Mike as much as it's the truth.

Also, I think the Raps are set on scoring. We just need someone big on the 5.

Any way you slice it its a tough spot. Of course you want a big that can rebound and defend and set picks....but there aren't too many around. And sure Andrea B might be another finess player we don't need, but he just might blow up and be the best thing in the draft. Its a tough call. I don't think the raptors would send wayne embry and sam mitchell to italy if they weren't really keen on gettin Bargnani ( however you spell it)

i agree with bosh, but what he wants and we need cant really be addressed though the draft. that kind of player is someone that's been in the league at least a couple of years. hoffa SHOULD and COULD have been that kind of player, but for whatever reason, he sucks

with the 1st overall pick, if we keep it, i think we should draft the best available player, or trade it plus whatever for what we need ie: pg or the banger. maybe portland were counting on the pick and are willing to work out a sign & trade for pryzbilla..although im not totally sold that he's going to have a great season

Anybody listen to Mike James on the Fan today? They asked him how he would respond to Chris Bosh comments that the team needs a pass-first point guard. He got pretty excited and a little hostile. Said he was a playmaker-first point guard and that he needed a team to accept him for what he was. I swear I thought he was gonna say F--- Bosh.

"People may not believe what I say, but I really do believe the bullshit that's coming out of my mouth."

He's such a crazy interview. Was all over the place.

As Bob McCown said, Mike James is a nutcase.
