    He's 33. I'd take him.

    Blazers need a veteran presence.

Worst case he dies on the court while playing.

But even dead he would still have more heart than LMA.

TMZ breaks their fair share of news, not an enquirer type by any means, but god I hate anytime I see one of those videos of guys "interviewing" an athlete as they clearly want nothing to do with them. Awkward as hell, terrible questions. "Hey, you catch Lonzo last night?" Come on. Bleh.

Anyways, I'd love to sign Bosh for the year, don't see it happening for us though.

If he plays his chance of living will be halfway between Isaiah Rider and Kevin Duckworth.

First of all, I can't believe you guys are making jokes about a guy dying. Not fucking cool. At all. You should be ashamed.

Honest question though: If you were coaching the Blazers and we were in game 7 of a playoff series with the score tied, 2 minutes left, and our starting bigs had all fouled out - Would you put in Meyers Leonard or the rotting, fly ridden, putrefied, corpse of Chris Bosh?

It really is quite the quandary. I think I would have to go with Dead Chris and just hope for some kind of zombie scenario. Or perhaps the opponents might slip in rancid juices dripping out of his decaying flesh.
    :dunno:

I'd lure Kendrick Perkins out of retirement in put him in the game for Dead Chris, secure in the knowledge no one would notice any difference.

When the jokes are about someone who has little regard for their own life I think it's alright. Also, the fact that he hasn't died helps.

"Gallows humour is humour about very unpleasant, serious, or painful circumstances. Any humor that treats serious matters, such as death, war, disease, and crime, in a light, silly or satirical fashion is considered gallows humor.[1][2] Gallows humor has been described as a witticism in response to a hopeless situation.[3] It arises from stressful, traumatic, or life-threatening situations, often in circumstances such that death is perceived as impending and unavoidable."

I don't think that there's any chance that a GM is going to give Chris Bosh a roster spot because he's got medical issues that could flat out kill him. Getting a giggle or two out of the absurdities associated with the NBA is pretty much what we do here. I do like your idea of suiting up zombie Chris, however.

Dead Chris would be stone cold in this league.
My first paragraph was fake outrage, just to set up my next overly macabre paragraph.
