Trades are just so rare in the NFL....and he signed a new contract a few years ago....this is a negative story in my opinion, and nothing good can come from it unless a team steps up like the Seahawks did for Branch....maybe the Cowboys with thier extra 1st rounder?

I think its highly doubtful someone gives up a 1st round draft choice for Chris Chambers this year.

IDK why they are doing this. If he's gone then they will only have Marty Booker and Ted Ginn Jr as starters. They've already sent Wes Welker to the Pats and he could have been a better option as a starter than all three of them. Chambers is a pretty good player but his role has been downsized and hasn't ran many deep routes as much has he done before. BTW, this is based off the games that I've seen and that's not much compared to you guys obviously. Maybe they see him as a problem later in the future i.e contract issues?

They will never get anything of value for Chambers and he is more valuable on the roster.

This is likely Cameron's way of motivating Chambers....Ive noticed CC plays some games in hopes of motivating players like sticking Ronnie Brown on kickoff returns during the preseason and dropping any player who came to camp out of shape off the depth chart until they are in shape....

Agreed. As I alluded to in the Ginn wins 3rd Wr spot, Chambers has underachieved and we have witnessed what Cam & Mueller did w/ McMike, Damion Macintosh, etc...</p>

Though, it was worth reiterating whatI said, during the offseason, "(Former UW Badger) CC to the Packers for a 3rd."</p>

I, personally, would settle for a conditional 4th/5th& OL help.</p>
