New York Rangers captain Chris Drury will suit up for Friday's home opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs and he may even slide into the top line, the team announced Wednesday.

Drury has been out since the first week of training camp with a broken left index finger.

After practice on Wednesday at the MSG Training Center, Drury said he was 100 percent and ready to play. Rangers coach John Tortorella took things a step further by emphatically stating, "Chris will play on Friday."
