he was picked on a little during preseason and didn't respond as well as hoped....he impressed in training camp, so maybe he just had some jitters...during camp, minter said he was unbelievable in a good sense...but in preseason, minter said he still had much too learn since he is a rookie

interesting read....i had no idea....in reading about the decision to draft carroll because of the 40 time, i remember thinking of a possibility when i was reading about gambles time & wonderlic test (i think he scored a 5) back in june or july....i wondered if gamble tanked the combine on purpose to get himself knocked out of the top 15 or so picks so that he could be drafted by a winning team....doubt it, but makes for interesting conversation....anyway, i hope it works out well for both teams, tho....i do remember that carolina had a chance to draft eddie george, but instead drafted timmy biakabatuka instead...i guess you know how that turned out
