"I've still got quite a ways to go on it, but my sights have been set on coming back and playing this year. It's been pretty exciting to me. It keeps me motivated and working hard every day." Mihm has undergone two operations since tearing ligaments in his right ankle last March against Seattle. He is listed on the injury report as being out for the season but is making steady progress with a routine that includes swimming and upper-body weightlifting. "We're just watching him with some kind of amazement that he's back out and doing work," Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said. "He's not jumping up and down and the ball and running, but he's back out doing things that make him look athletic again."</div> This is great news. I really think Chris Mihm can still help this team. I have not forgotten when he was the 2nd leading scorer for the Lakers and our most consistent player night in and night out after Kobe. He had a really nice jump shot, very nice post game, nice shot blocker, aggressive player and unfortunately foul prone, but that can be changed. If things don't work out on the Lakers for him, it will help us with trading pieces. Hurry back, Chris! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hixRBmCs-28
I'd love to have him back this year, but I really don't want him to rush. We don't need a Grant Hill situation.
Mostly the refs fault? Sure the refs make bad calls, but it isn't all their fault. Mihm was very, very foul prone. He did get some terrible calls against him, but he also liked to block shots which has its risks and its rewards.
i wouldn't have to ,atter about foul trouble because we have 3 bigs man! Mihm, Kwame and Bynum, you can also add Turiaf as a center to make it 4
He tried to come back last year towards the end of season and did nothing. Hes just wants to come back because its the last year of this contract. He needs to somewhat play to get another one. He better stay loyal to the Lakers and take the minimum.
