What do you guys think about him? When we picked (actully we traded on draft day) him we expected big (not huge) things from him, but he never really showd a mean streak. But last year he kinda started to come out of his shell and this year he was giving us solid play off the bench and was getting better and better. When I heard we traded him and Ricky - I was kinda pissed about losing Mihm because he was steadily getting better. So my question to you Celtic fans is what do y'all think of him? Would you have traded Battie for Mihm straight up?

If he was offered straight up for Battie I would have done it in a second. Battie could be a good player but he's always been slowed down by injuries. Battie was at his peak, he is not going to get much better, Mihm has much more upside, I'm waiting for him to gte some major playing time.

I think hes good, but nothing exciting. his main problem is foul trouble...i dont see him as being a big part of the team years down the road, but hes a good player to try to develop while the celts rebuild.

Chris Mihm is a solid player, simple as that. He's never going to be a real star, he's just a 7 footer who does what he's meant to do. Rebound and play down low, I believe he's got that down. Mihm's downside is his foul trouble. He's only getting 18 minutes per game, I'm sure Boston could use him alot more between the 4 and 5 postion, but he's constantly picking up unnecessary fouls that limits his time on the court.

The guy is currently averaging 7 points and 6 rebounds, now for a young guy (24) who is only averaging 18 minutes per, that's not half bad. Boston is making the right moves with Mihm, getting him quality minutes and allowing him to adjust to Boston's style of play as well as learn the game further. If Mihm can shy away from the foul trouble I can see him getting 30-35 minutes per game with this ball club. Chris Mihm getting those kind of minutes could be very effective in The Eastern Conference, I believe he's capable of averaging a double-double every night.

    He's a decent bench player-good for 8 ppg, 4 rpg a nite...but nothing special...
