Missed only one game with the same injury that Sebastian Telfair missed three weeks with. The kid is the definition of tough.
When his grandfather was murdered at age 61, shot down in cold blood at his grocery store by a coward, Chris, after mourning, went out and scored 61 points his next game in high school.

That's just flat out amazing, but doesn't surprise me given how much class this kid has.

You guys never read that in Slam? Chris Paul purposely missed a freethrow to get the 61 so he could honor his Grandpa.
Yeah, sad but true. I live in NC and remember reading the stories in the papers. It was all over NC because he was a Wake recruit and had chosen Wake over UNC. Buckets is right, Chris missed the FT intentionally, but the game was already won. Another interesting fact is that Chris could have taken over the NC high school scoring lead, but took himself out of the game. His coach didn't know what Chris was doing at first, but his teammates knew. P.S. They caught the punks, and actually I believe the gang may have hit CP's grandad with an object just to steal his wallet (not a gun like I said above.) My apologies to the Paul family. God bless them.
