As a UFC bettor the odds are just a little too steep to wager on Liddell at -285. If you want to wager on Liddell he will win this fight but there are much better UFC bets to lay your money on to get a better betting return. As a wager I would lay my money on a UFC prop bet for this fight to go the distance. Rashad Evans is a very game fighter with good cardio and will be well coached by Greg Jackson. Evans will stick and move in and outside of Liddell range. He will try to slow play and slow down the fight and not be drawn into a striking match with Chuck. http://www.fighting-mma.com/mma-matchups/2008/ufc-88-betting-chuck-liddell-rashad-evans.php
Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction A couple of years ago this would be an easy TKO for Chuck, but Chuck has lost two of three and hasn't had a knockout since 2006. Tough fight to call.
Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction saw the KO online. It was vicious! Chuck couldn't even stand!! WOW! Just WOW!
Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction Nice victory by Evans. I always under estimate him, but he just keeps on winning with impressive finishes. How did Dan Henderson look tonight? Good nigh Chuck

Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction Decision Dan was Decision Dan. Not very impressive, but you have to expect him to fight safe when he's got two losses in a row. Rashad's knockout was a full strength baseball swing. Chuck was sloppy. I guess we can forget about Chuck/Forrest.
Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction Chuck didn't look in shape at all for this fight, either. He looked better against Wanderlei. I wonder if he took Rashad lightly, like he did Jardine. Stupid Chuck. Hendo was cautious, but you can't blame him for that. He was fighting one of the best submission artists in the game, so he kept it standing for the most part. When he was on the ground, his defense was nice. He landed some decent shots, but it didn't look like he was throwing anything 100% committed. Palhares (sp) has one hell of a chin. I wonder what's next for Dan, though? Jardine? Chuck? Franklin? Bisping?
Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction The UFC intends on keeping Hendo at middleweight. When Bisping wins it will be him and Okami for the next title shot, so maybe a Marquart/Hendo fight will happen in December.
Re: Chuck/Evans Precdiction Which sucks on the UFC's part for wanting to keep Hendo @ 185. I want to see a Franklin/Hendo fight, but Franklin's camp turned it down. I was talking to one of Dan's trainers and the co-owner of Team Quest in Temecula, and he was telling me how the UFC really wanted Hendo/Franklin but Franklin kept turning it down. Pisses me off. Hendo/Marquardt would be exciting.
I thought dan was aggressive last night, just not overly aggressive. He did go for it when he dropped Palhares a couple of times, it just that 'the tree trunk' is a solid dude and can take a shot. a little patience is to be expected when you get a striker trying to keep it standing too, but I don't think Dan was overly cautious. and BM, Chuck never looks that in shape, he's got a permanent beer gut. He seemed poised, it's not like Rashad dominated him at all, he got one good shot in right on the button and a few punches but that's all Rashad did in the fight. Luckily enough that one shot ended Chuck's night.
I just thought he looked a little more pudgy last night than he did against Wanderlei. When Rashad started flashing his speed in the 2nd round, I had a feeling Chuck could be in trouble...I just didn't expect that ending.
I don`t think he was in much different shape for Wanderlei. It`s just that Chuck needs to be the counter puncher. Wanderlei will be aggressive and chase guys and beat them down, but that is what Chuck likes to fight against. He uses less energy and swings. Rashad threw a few punches for an entire round and conserved his arms, Chuck who has bad conditioning felt he had to play the aggressor due to Rashad backing off most of the time. I don`t think he took Rashad lightly, Chuck just won`t beat a better conditioned and stronger guy if that guy doesn`t chase him, so Chuck uses up less energy. Anyway, Rashad I think should be next for a title shot, I mean he can be beaten, but I think he is probably the best contender to put up against Forrest other than Rampage. He has wrestling, striking, I think he would be an interesting matchup against Wandy, and Sokoudjou is probably stronger but with less technique in standup. I think Machida basically beat Tito by "elusiveness" and needs an impressive fight to raise his rankings, and Shogun hasn't really done anything to warrant a title fight yet. I think Hendo was overly cautious especially at the end, I mean they barely were throwing any punches, and Palhares' takedowns were becoming weaker. Dan wasn't aggressive in my mind. He was cautious, and I think it was warranted in the first round for sure, when Palhares was fresh. But in the 2nd round, and especially the 3rd round he should have thrown more. Obviously a lucky shot can come at anytime. But I mean Chuck was the aggressor and threw a lot more punches than Rashad, while Rashad was fresh. Even if that punch didn't happen, Rashad had fresh arms, more strength and better conditioning, he probably would have landed something or a barrage and I'm guessing eventually KOed chuck. Chuck needs to get in shape, obviously he is past his prime, and can still be in the top 8-10 LHWs being out of shape if he gets the right matchups.
