"The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Monday that they've signed linebacker Ben Jacobs to the practice squad, releasing offensive tackle Jeff Adams to make room on the limited eight-man roster. Linebacker Ben Jacobs, out of Fresno State, entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns in 2011. He spent the first 12 weeks on Cleveland's practice squad, before a promotion to the 53-man roster during the final five games of the season. Jacobs once again joined the practice squad in Cleveland this year, but was released on October 9. Jacobs currently holds the NCAA record with three forced fumbles in a single game. Jeff Adams spent the preseason with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent, before being waived during final cuts this year. The Bengals signed him to the practice squad three days later on Sept. 2. The move reduces Cincinnati's count of offensive linemen on the practice squad from three to two, with offensive guard Otis Hudson and recently signed center Scott Wedige. Currently there is a 50-50 split between offense and defense on the eight-man practice squad." Read more: http://www.cincyjungle.com/2012/11/...n-linebacker-ben-jacobs-to-the-practice-squad
