He said he had a good feeling LA would leave during the playoffs. Whoa. He didn't fly back with the team to POR, CJ figured LA would explore options. Initially didn't think anything of it because it happens sometimes. CJ also did not fly back to POR with the team and figured something must be going on when he read about it in the papers.
CJ says that he had a feeling LMA was gonna leave during the playoffs. I have to think that Neil knew as well. Edit - we must be listening at the same time lol
Huh? Im listening to it now and though it isn't over, they already discussed this and he didn't say that. He said he didn't think anything of it because lots of guys fly home when they have an off day to be with their family and LMA wasn't the only guy on the team who had done that.
CJ is SO easy to root for. I will be very sad if he's traded just on a personal level even if it improves the team.
I mean, pretty much everyone outside of Portland called it a clear sign of rebuilding. It was only people within Portland that was denying it, or didn't want to believe.
Ill rewind then because if so I must have missed it for a split second. Im working remotely right now, so Im distracted. But I know he also said what I posted was at the 16:10 mark. After rewinding, I heard nothing of what your saying he said. He did say he didnt think about it until he read an article about it and then it lit the lightbulb so to speak.
im listening again and no where so far has CJ said he didnt make anything of LMA not making the plane until after he read an article about it and never said when he read that article. aprox 16:30 mark
Lowe: (14:30) When did you start to think that LaMarcus was gonna leave? CJ: That's a really good question. I'd say I had a pretty good feeling he was gonna leave around the playoffs. Lowe: Really? What gave you that feeling? CJ: Well there was reportedly something that went around saying that he didn't fly back with the team to Portland, and I kinda sensed that there was some separation and that he would potentially explore other options.
Yeah, I missed it and then didn't rewind far enough. But then he goes on to say what I posted. I think the thought entered his mind in the playoffs and started solidifying shortly after. Not trying to put words in his mouth, but he said what you said AND what I said, right after.
Eh, I think what he was saying was that, at the time, he didn't think anything of it, but after he read the articles it made sense to him and it got him thinking about it. He's saying that's when he really started to think that LMA might leave.
Ooooh. CJ unprompted said "we play them in March" @ Clippers regarding the lineup thing. Glad he's looked at the schedule. 50 comin
My only fear is he tries too hard, but if all goes will, he will have his career best game and then point at Doc from across the court after we stomped his team by 20+ and slap both his knees and imitate Doc laughing at him. I would record that moment and save it on my computer to watch for all time!~!!
