    He's been recruiting Biyombo and Whiteside too. It will be interesting to see if he recruits Howard and Horford too.

    It's super exciting to have a guy like CJ that's become high profile enough that we entertain the idea that his recruiting might mean something.

    I was one of the early guys on the "CJ and Dame are as similar as any two players can be" bus. Most people rejected the notion that CJ had Dame's same leadership skills. I said he just hasn't had the chance to fully take the reigns and show it. It's looking a lot more plausible now, isn't it?

    How does this speculation affirm this? All we know is that he's working out in proximity to Kevin Durant and so far there is no indication the Blazers are one of the handful of teams he's letting in the room when it comes time to be courted and wooed.

    That doesn't mean I think CJ is a bad guy or that he doesn't have positive relationships with other NBA players, but there's no evidence that has any real impact on free agent visits or generates any real pull getting other guys to come here.
