An Olive Garden employee in Fayetteville, N.C. tested positive for hepatitis A a few weeks ago, potentially exposing thousands of customers to the disease. As a result, health officials have reported that about 3,000 people have received immunizations. Now a class action lawsuit has been filed by the firm Marler Clark, a Seattle-based law firm that specializes in foodborne-illness litigation. The complaint claims that patrons suffered from "lost wages, medical expenses, 'fear of harm and humiliation' and physical pain and injury."
