I loved this era of Blazer basketball, Rider, Wallace, Sabonis. We had just come through some very "meh" years following the collapse of the Drexler era. This was 4 games after we had just acquired Damon Stoudamire.
Stoudamire was the reason I became a blazers fan. I was like 13 and he was my first real favorite player not named michael jordan. Still have a poster of him with the Portland skyline in the background. Mad nostalgia right now. Long live Mighty Mouse.
That team had SO MUCH talent. Inside, outside, slashers, power, finesse....a lot of fun to watch. I would mind a little more 'attitude' on the current team.
When talking about 'Which team would beat GS in the last 20 years?' I think this is one of them. Unfortunate, they landed right at the same time the Lakers landed with Shaq, Kobe and Phil
