To celebrate Michael Vick's indictment, I was going to go back and read the classic thread, "The INDISPUTABLE Truth about MIchael Vick." To my horror, I don't see it and I don't see anyway to look at threads beyond the first page. Is it gone forever? Please say it ain't so!!! There have been some other classic threads that I would hate to see die. Also, I have a fairly good memory and like to go dig up other folks words and throw them back in their face from time to time. That's going to be difficult if threads aren't going to be around very long. Is there someway to find older threads? Are they still out there somewhere?
I think the threads are saved, but currently not displayed. I think this was something DaBullz had on his To Do list.
-Petey

No hurry. I was just looking for that old thread and couldn't find it. There's another thread that Cowboy71 had saved and reprinted that I would hate to lose again. I really need to print some of those to a hard copy.
Edit - Speaking of Cowboy71, when was the last time anyone has seen him posting?

An idea for Web Page (a type of thread) in a forum. If there's threads you want to mark as "best of" forum, you can make a Web page document that has links to all those threads.
Another use might be... say you guys create a thread in each NFL forum about the team's prospects. In the NFL General forum you make a WWW page that links to all those. A mod can sticky the WWW page, like a thread.
Make sense?
I'm not a believer in physically deleting anything, so all the threads are there, including the old nfl-forums.com ones. There were some I put in a "hidden" place for now. You guys had some threads about NCAA football that are still there, and once NCAA is up and running, they'll appear there.
Regards

Dale, do you remember who started the thread? If you do, search for thier name and bring up thier profile and it will have a link to threads they started.....you may be able to find it that way....I remember the thread well, but dont remember who started it

I wonder... given the previous post... will we find Dale's picture in the dictionary under modesty? rofl

You can now go to page 2, page 3, etc., on the home page.
Should be able to find your thread!

I finally found it. There were a couple of things that stuck out at me while re-reading the thread. First, the criticisms of Michael Vick as a QB are just a valid as they were then and it was written a couple of years ago. It makes you wonder why the Falcons keep investing so heavily in him unlessBlank cares more about making money than winning. Second, I can't believe I dish out such wisdom for free.
