    HEAD COACH TERRY STOTTS
“Anybody see that coming? You know, it’s one of the things you love about the NBA, is anything can happen. Obviously, we played a very good game at both ends of the court. Our defense in the first half allowed us to get in transition and get some easy baskets that way, it took a little pressure off our half-court offense. I liked the way we sustained it at both ends. It was obviously a very good win. Good to be home and get a win.”

    On tempo early:

“It was just the way we want to play. I thought having two days off for us was good and we had a lot of energy. We were pushing the ball a lot after stops. It just seemed like we had a little extra bounce. They could have had a little hand over from the Golden State game, but I don’t want to take away from what our guys did.”

On no turnovers in first half:

“It’s amazing. 18 assists and no turnovers in the first half, we got a shot every time. We had talked about it, obviously, going into it. Last time we played them, we had a very good first half then had 9 turnovers in the third quarter. It was really good when we won’t put ourselves in a hole with turnovers.”

On offense coming inside three point line:

“I just thought the ball was moving. When they play a smaller lineup, there are going to be more opportunities to get into the lanes, there’s more spacing on the court. I thought we did a nice job of making good decisions. I think it’s important to take what the game gives you and play your game. I thought a lot of our guys did that.”

    On Crabbe:

“He really moves well without the ball. He’s confident with his stroke. His defense is consistent. Another career high for him. He moves so well and uses screens so well, he just keeps getting better whether it’s flaring on the outside or curling on the inside. I think our guys really are patient as far as finding him when he’s using those screens.”

    ALLEN CRABBE
On home win after road trip:

“It felt really good. We had a tough road trip and it was good to get back here in front of our home crowd and it felt good to get a win, especially against a team like that.”

    On shooting in first half:

“I just, on the road trip, I didn’t shoot the ball well and I was struggling a lot. I just was telling myself I’m due for one man. We had a good two days off, got to relax, and got my legs back under me and it was a good night.”

On playing well after road trip:

“We just talked about the struggles we had against Cleveland the last time we had played them. We were up big in the first half and then in the second half, they turned it up defensively and they got back into the game because they forced us into turnovers. That was one of our big focuses tonight, to not turn the ball over and we executed pretty well. Our defense was really great too, I felt like that allowed us to get out into the break in transition a lot and we got a lot of easy points.”

    MEYERS LEONARD
“I’ll start with this – I think the chance to have a little time off after a rough December – I mean, the month’s not over, but you talk about two long road trips, losing Damian, not playing particularly well, it felt good to come out here in front of our home crowd the day after Christmas and get a win. We scouted them just like we normally would have, but you know, we came out and played hard. I think the defense really was the key. We locked in and did what we needed to do and that transitioned into good offense. Allen got it going, CJ had it going a little bit there early – it was a total team effort, you really can’t ask for much more tonight.”
