The Browns got better over the weekend by adding eight rookie draft picks. The reality is -- so did their rivals in the AFC North.

    There's a big difference, though.

The Bengals got better and have Carson Palmer at quarterback.

The Ravens got better and have Joe Flacco.

The Steelers got better and have Ben Roethlisberger, after electing to give him a chance to rectify his disgusting off-field behavior.

The Browns got better, but still don't have "the guy" at quarterback. Third-round pick Colt McCoy? Who knows? Mike Holmgren doesn't.
