The Gladiators dropped their third-straight game, falling to the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz 63-50 on Saturday night. The Gladiators head into their Week 4 bye week at 0-3, while the Yard Dawgz picked up their first win of the year.

--In a game flooded with penalties, the two teams were flagged a total of 32 times for 220 total yards.

The Yard Dawgz were paced by quarterback Tommy Grady, who completed 20-of-33 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns.

Al Hunt saw spot duty at quarterback on certain offensive packages, carrying the ball five times, scoring on three. He also added two receiving touchdowns, leading all players with five total touchdowns.

For the Gladiators, John Dutton threw for 309 yards on 35-of-50 passing and seven touchdowns. His lone interception came in the third quarter, on a pass intended for Ben Nelson.

Nelson and Chris Johnson both eclipsed the 10-reception and 100-yard marks, catching 14 and 13 passes, respectively. Nelson finished with 113 yards and three touchdowns as Johnson hauled in 133 yards and two touchdowns. Dutton also found tight end Ryan Stanchek in the second quarter for a five-yard score - the first ever of Stanchek's football career.

With his seven-touchdown performance, Dutton has now moved into sole possession of sixth place all-time in AFL history for touchdown passes. Dutton, with 583, passed John Kaleo, who finished his career with 581 career touchdowns.
