I don't find that article at all convincing. The basic thesis is 'hey, we'll figure something out, we always have before!'. And maybe we will. But maybe we won't. And is it really a 'fun fact' that Nigeria is projected to have a higher population than the US? Is that fun for us, or the Nigerians? barfo
That's a really convenient way to morally justify what you do, but it ends up with you looking like a happy dog defending huge systems that already hate 99% of people anyway. Maybe you could target that to people who aren't already oppressed.
Fair enough; it was late and I was tired, and probably angry at you because you were willfully misrepresenting the "1%" in question. I fell afoul of one of the great blunders, which is thinking you'd ever argue anything in good faith.
Fair enough. FYI, looking at who wrote it, it appears that they are arguing against the concept of overpopulation in order to support their anti-abortion position. barfo
For any politician, you win some ground along with the loss that you must take. Manchin represents a dirt poor State that is the coal State. Joe Biden had to set a neutral zone in his battle of political crap with the Republicans and Manchin.
