This is a good preview. I say Clippers take this one easily by 8 or more. They've been playing some good basketball this season.
I hate to sound so cruel and bias for once. But I say no trouble for the Clippers, the Hawks simply aren't good enough to beat any team. They simply have good individuals like SAR and Diaw. I love SJax though, he really knows how to play. Ratliff might cause some minor trouble, that guy is a blocking machine. The Clippers seem to have the edge in everything, effort, talent, skill, strength, speed, offense. The Hawks just simply won't and can't take them. An easy win. I'm sorry if I seemed so bias, but it's just so farfetched if they get a win. The Grizzlies, now there's a good underdog team. I think the Clippers Three will slaughter them, controlling the whole court. Clippers by at least high double digits, 17.
Good win for the Clippers tonight. I would have been shocked if they didn't win this one, down the stretch they made key baskets to pull away from the Hawks. Jaric had a big game netting 20 points to go along with 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals. Elton Brand has his usual stud double double like night, and Q crashed the boards giving the Clips more oppourtunites to score. And lets not forget Wilcox contributed 18 points off the bench. Caught a little of the game, but can someone answer why Maggette only played 13 minutes? I just looked through the recap of the game, nothing that said he got hurt, and he wasn't ejected. Anyone know what happend?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After the Los Angeles Clippers lost their leading scorer in the first half, Elton Brand and Marko Jaric were quick to pick up the slack. Corey Maggette went down with a sprained right ankle midway through the second quarter, but Brand scored 22 points and Jaric added 20 to lead the Clippers past the Atlanta Hawks, 101-95. </div> Good game from Wilcox and Jaric.Brand had a nice game also, it sucks to see Maggette go down like that though.
