    Agua Caliente Clippers News Release

The Agua Caliente Clippers (3-3) take down the Canton Charge (2-4), 117-104, on Friday night behind a huge night from Tyrone Wallace. Wallace's 28 points, on nine-of-18 shooting from the field and four-of-six from distance, fell two points shy of his career-high.

After twenty minutes of basketball where neither team led by more than six points, the Clippers struck fast, ending the first half on a 13-4 run to take a 56-41 halftime advantage. They would continue their hot shooting into the second half as their lead expanded to a game-high 23 points after five and a half minutes out of the break. Canton tried to chip away but the Clippers held on, never allowing their advantage to fall below double-digits for the remainder of the game.

In addition to Wallace, five other Clippers scored in double-figures, led by James Palmer Jr. and Jahmi'us Ramey's 17 points, respectively. Palmer Jr. added seven rebounds and a block while Ramsey, on assignment from the Sacramento Kings bounced back from a rough last outing, hitting eight of his 12 shot attempts. Phoenix Suns' assignee Jalen Smith added 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks off the bench.

For the Charge, a huge offensive night from Antonio Blakeney was put to waste. His 34 points came three-shy of Jordan Poole's G League season-high 37 on Thursday. Blakeney was extremely efficient, hitting 14 of his 23 shot attempts including six-of-11 from three-point range.

The Clippers have another day-off before a Sunday morning matchup against the Lakeland Magic. Action tips off at 8:00 a.m. PT inside the AdventHealth Arena at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, FL.
