<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to sign Utah Jazz free agent center Mikki Moore to a one year contract as early as Tuesday, sources have indicated.

The 7'1" Nebraska product averaged 4.1 points in 32 games with the Jazz and New Jersey Nets last year. He enjoyed the best seasons of his six year career with the Detroit Pistons, including averaging 7.9 points a game during the 1999-2000 season.

Moore has also spent regular season time with the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks, as well as preseason stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs.

Last week, the Clippers added center Zeljko Rebraca to the team. Rebraca and Moore were teammates in Detroit as the team began its ascent into the NBA's upper echelon under then head coach Rick Carlisle.</div>

Not a huge signing at all. He may have a year like Skinner did when he left the sixers and signed with the bucks and have a break out year or he may be just a pickup because he comes cheap and adds another player to reach the roster minimum needed.

With the Clippers you never know what there thinking. If they are tring to make a move to be good or two save cap room. I think they added a little more depth the the center spot since Kaman cant play consistanly through out a game for some reason or through out the season.

I think this is a solid pickup. I've always thought Moore was a good backup big man. Make no mistake, he will ride the pine...but he will be good insurance if one of the Clipper big men get hurt

Moore is average at best. He is capable of being a back up center however. He will prove that he's worth a contract, and play hard each game. He can score and rebound reasonably well, and this signing wont hurt the Clippers.

He is a solid player who can produce of the bench at times when needed. But he's not starter material.

A solid player off the bench. He seems to be able to back up Shaq in NBA Live 2004 lol  . Anyway he is able to block shots and should provide the Clippers with Energy each night. Hes kind of like a Zendon Hamilton player. Hes also a good big body to put on players like Duncan, Yao,etc.
